Laboratory Technician

The person in this position will be responsible for:

• making concrete mixtures for testing, including strength from samples of aggregates, chemicals and similar recipes • controlling the setting times of cement with sample and production materials, as well as with chemicals • preparing the raw materials necessary for making concrete mixtures • introducing new raw materials into the system and checking their correctness • preparing the composition of the mixtures used in production • supervising production trials • introducing changes to production recipes in the recipe program • recording the consumption of raw materials used for laboratory tests • maintaining laboratory documentation in paper and electronic versions • maintaining a clean and tidy workplace • taking care of the good technical condition of laboratory equipment and instruments • constantly informing the supervisor about the implementation of assigned tasks or about problems arising from their implementation.

We expect candidates to meet the following requirements: • minimum secondary education • ability to use equipment designed to test the characteristics of aggregates, concrete mixtures, concretes and mortars and to interpret the results obtained • computer skills (MS Office: Word, Excel) • teamwork skills, involvement • English skills – B1/B2.
