Junior Accountant (Iasi)

Role Purpose

The Junior Accountant plays an important role in supporting the Head of Reporting by ensuring accurate financial and management reporting.

The role will need to ensure good service delivery in a multi-entity and multi-currency group and will require knowledge of IFRS and SAP Business One, SAP Analytics Cloud (Financial Consolidation & Reporting).

Good level of English will be required as a certain level of executive-level communication is needed.

Key Responsibilities

1. Group Financial Reporting

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements

• Assist in multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation

• Ensure compliance with IFRS / local GAAP

• Assist in the deliver high-quality board reporting packs

• Assist in the year-end statutory reporting process

2. Management & Performance Reporting

Assist in the delivery of Executive dashboards covering:           

• Net Fee Income (NFI)

• Gross margin

• Consultant productivity

• Client reporting

• Headcount metrics

• EBITDA performance

3. Revenue & Margin Governance

• Ensure robust revenue recognition controls for:            

• Permanent placements

• Contract and temporary staffing

• Monitor revenue cut-off accuracy

4. Forecasting & Planning Support

• Support reporting elements of budgeting and reforecast cycles

Key Industry-Specific Focus Areas

In a €350m recruitment business, the Senior Accountant would preferably have experience in:

• Multi-entity consolidation

• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Accurate month-end close within agreed timeframe

• Accurate revenue recognition and margin reporting

• Forecast accuracy

Qualifications & Experience

Education & Certification

Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

Experience

• 1+ years in accounting or audit of international company’s experience

• Experience in service sector preferred

• Strong IFRS technical expertise
