Application:
For desktops on PCI slots. Allows to add 1 IDE port to connect 1 to 2 hard disks, and to add 2 SATA ports to connect 2 SATA peripherals.

SATA part: SATA 1 (can accept SATA 2/3 by limiting it to SATA 1 transfer speeds) without capacity limit.
IDE part: Card recommended for Hard Disk Drives Compatible with UDMA5 ATA/100, UDMA6 ATA/133.
