Special Features

The hexagonal housing shape effectively prevents reflections inside, thus guaranteeing the neutral reproduction characteristics. With the XTi, the JBL developers rely on an eight-piece solid MDF construction without parallel side panels, resulting in a rigid construction and absolute lack of resonance. This results in a hexagonal floor plan, which shows its effect not only in functionality, but also in design.
In the chassis, the perfect harmony of tradition and innovation is convincing. The arrangement of the individual drivers in relation to each other, the optimal frequency control, the sophisticated cabinet design and ultimately the fine tuning of the entire speaker make the models of the innovative XTi series works of sound art.
