Synthesis and sound
Oscillators: The TI2 uses various oscillator models, including classic virtual analog waveforms (saw, pulse, sine, triangle), hypersaw, wavetables, graintables, and formant oscillators. The hypersaw can stack up to nine sawtooths with parallel sub-oscillators per voice.
Filters: It has two independent multimode filters (low-pass, high-pass, band-pass, and band-stop) per voice. An optional saturation module can be inserted between the filters. It also includes an analog-modeled filter based on the MiniMoog cascade filter, with variable slopes and self-oscillation.
Polyphony: With its dual DSP system, the TI2 offers variable polyphony ranging from 20 to 90 stereo voices, depending on the complexity of the patch. It is 16-part multitimbral.
Modulation: A comprehensive modulation matrix with six slots and two fast ADSTR envelopes provides extensive real-time control over parameters. It also features three LFOs with a selection of 68 waveforms.
Arpeggiator: A programmable 32-step arpeggiator is available for each patch, with adjustable step length and velocity.
Effects and processing
Effects engine: The TI2 boasts an impressive effects section with up to 129 parallel effects, which are independent for each of the 16 multi-mode parts.
Effect types: The library includes reverb, tape delay, chorus, phaser, distortion, frequency shifter, ring modulator, 3-band EQ, and a vocoder.
Audio processing: A stereo analog input allows you to process external audio signals through the Virus's sound engine.
Physical and connectivity
Build: The all-metal enclosure features a wooden strip on the front, providing a premium finish. The mahogany-style side panels are interchangeable with optional rack ears for mounting.
