Shanling Onix Beta XI2: 2 CS43198 DAC chips
The Onix Beta XI2 uses two Cirrus Logic CS43198 DAC chips, enabling it to support data streams up to PCM 32-bit 768kHz and DSD512. The two DAC chips work symmetrically to deliver clear and accurate sound reproduction.

Shanling Onix Beta XI2: Power tubes and OPA1612
The amplification stage of the ONIX Beta XI2 is based on a pair of OPA1612 op-amps coupled with BUF434A and JAN6418 power tubes. These tubes are renowned for their compact size, low power consumption and stable operation. The use of tubes provides warm, smooth sound reproduction. However, if you prefer more neutral reproduction with more pronounced dynamics, a transistor amplification mode is also available.

The Beta XI2 retains the characteristic aesthetics of the ONIX range and features a CNC-machined aluminium body combined with a 0.78-inch screen and three physical buttons for volume and playback control.
