Line’s Blade Optic collection is new for 22/23, and the Blade
Optic 92 is the narrowest and lightest of the bunch. Overall,
the Blade Optic 92 is a versatile and easygoing ski — it doesn’t
take much effort to get it on edge and bend it into tight turns
on piste, but it’s also very easy to pivot and slide down the
mountain. This is also the lightest ski in this section, and it’s
certainly, quick and easy to flick around. Additionally, this ski
produces a lot of pop when bent, and can suit both directional
skiers and freestyle-minded folks. For how light and forgiving
it is, the Blade Optic 92 can be pushed impressively hard
both on-piste and in ungroomed terrain, from either a more
centered or a more forward stance. Heavier, stiffer skis (like
the Blade Optic 96) are more stable and damper, but the Blade
Optic 92 is one of the most accessible and maneuverable skis
in this section.
