The Dunlop Max 200g was the first mass-produced carbon composite racket to be manufactured. It came on the market in the 1980s and was much used by John McEnroe and Steffi Graf who used this racquet to win the 1988 US Open, the last event of her Golden Grand Slam.

The Dunlop "Max 200G" tennis racquet was the first graphite racquet to be constructed using injection moulding, rather than the standard process of compression moulding (where sheets of graphite and epoxy are hand-formed and then compressed within a mould at high temperatures).

Injection-moulded graphite tennis racquet with clear gut strings painted with a black Dunlop logo on the face. The racquet frame is the dark green edition. Racquet has an oval head and an open throat.
