External dual band L1/L2/E5b/B2I active helical GNSS antenna, with a weight below 18 grams, ideal for lightweight applications like drones.

– Compatible with all simpleRTK2B boards as well as any other multiband GNSS receiver in the market
– Helical antennas are ideal for GNSS reception in strange attitudes (not always facing the sky)
– Integrates a SMA-male termination, no cable is needed although you can use cable extenders
– Be aware that if you plan to use the Pixhawk connector in the simpleRTK2B board, the helical antenna will block it, so you will need a cable extender.

Description:
Low loss antenna extender for SMA connectors, in many possible lengths: 0.1, 1, 2.5, 5 and 20 meters.

ArduSimple’s extenders are using high quality RG58 RF cable. To make a comparison, these extenders need 5 meters to have the same loss as a 2.5 meter low quality RF174 RF cable.

Recommended maximum length:
– For GPS/GNSS antenna: 20 meters
– For XBee LR radio: 2.5m

Good to know:
– Compatible with both GPS/GNSS antenna & XBee LR radio.
