The Patagonia Stretch Microburst Pant is designed to be a lightweight, packable, durable, waterproof, breathable shell pant with stretch. In other words, a go anywhere does anything no nonsense pant weighing just 17oz. Like the sound of that, it gets better.The interior surface has texture channels that pull moisture away from the skin, they also protect the waterproof barrier from abrasion and it allows the garment to slide easily over base layers. The pants are made using 3oz, 40 denier matte ripstop nylon with an H2No® HB (highly breathable) barrier. Complete withDeluge® DWR (durable water repellent). All the seams are sealed using skinny tape that is light, soft and compressible.Durability is not an issue due to the reinforced stretch panels in the seat and knees also allowing for more enhanced movement. These pants also feature black non-stretch reinforced edge guards at the hem, full-length coated water resistant two way side zips and a zipper thigh pocket. This version also has removable suspenders,snap closure at the waist, two-way zip fly. Additionally they have elastic shockcord adjustments at the hem and two loops at the hem for attaching an under-the-heel-cord.Patagonia MARS Clothing SystemMilitary Advanced Regulator SystemPatagonia developed the environmental clothing system for the US Military called the Military Advanced Regulator System or MARS.
