The D/A converter of the SL-PS770D included an S-advanced MASH Class A DAC. This circuitry reduced noise and decreased crosstalk between channels by using a configuration of three LSIs, with one chip for S-advanced MASH and two chips for independent left and right PWM circuits. Using a Class A DAC for the D/A converter section achieved ideal PWM waveforms. Also, virtual-battery-operated power supply circuitry was included to prevent noise loop interference from the power supply and digital circuits. Use of separators mixed with bamboo fibre for the electrolytic capacitors enabled reproduction with unwelcome incidental noise limited. THCB (Technics hybrid construction base) achieved excellent vibration damping characteristics.
